Heineken seems to have gotten caught in the crossfire of a meme - it's all in the luck of the timing. (Photo taken in a hotel in Mexico City, Mexico in March 2011, just as Charlie Sheen announces he's "WINNING!" almost daily in every media he can reach)

Yahoo sent a "DEAR JOHN" letter announcing the demise of mybloglog as of May 24, 2011. The exact wording is as follows:
You have been identified as a customer of Yahoo! MyBlogLog. We will officially discontinue Yahoo! MyBlogLog effective May 24, 2011. Your agreement with Yahoo!, to the extent that it applies to the Yahoo! MyBlogLog, will terminate on May 24, 2011.
After May 24, 2011 your credit card will no longer be charged for premium services on MyBlogLog. We will refund you the unused portion of your subscription, if any. The refund will appear as a credit via the billing method we have on file for you. To make sure that your billing information is correct and up to date, visit https://billing.yahoo.com.
Just as a courtesy...the email was addressed to : Dear MyBlogLog Customer - do they not have my name on file? Perhaps not. It's still a little cold to read "You have been identified as a customer of Yahoo! MyBlogLog." I wonder if they would have scripted it differently if they put the announcement out as a voice mail. Customer experience? Yahoo hasn't seemed to think of it in their hurry to shut down the service, yet have not accounted that I might be paying for other Yahoo services.
